So, all I can do these days is just sit on my phone & computer and just scan the world wide web for cute clothes to wear on my honeymoon…in September! #iknowiamcrazy. I try not to buy anything too far in the future because I’ve learned that I just end up wanting more as the trip gets closer. Below are some cute outfit ideas I had in my head and needed to get out. They also double as summer vacay looks –

Straw Boater Hat //  Light Pink Saddle Purse // Turquoise Pendant Necklace // Pink PomPom Clutch // Tassel Hoop Earrings // Leaf Print Top // Cutoff Denim Shorts // Chambray Off-the-Shoulder Dress // Flat Lace Up Sandals // Wedges

All of the items on the left are meant to be one outfit, while the same is true for the right side. We’re fairly sure we’re heading out to the Mediterranean after the wedding and I can’t wait!

Which piece is your favorite??

After Easter service, my fiancé and I hopped in the car and decided to head to the flower fields in Carlsbad (about an hour away from us). Let me tell you, these photos don’t even do it justice. It was so beautiful to the naked eye and it smelled great! I’m from South Florida where it’s too hot to have anything like this. It was just gorgeous.

I believe all of the flowers were ranunculus (or at least from that family). The different colored sections were so impressive. There was also a wagon that will take you on a ride around the field, but we opted to walk – it really wasn’t too big.  They also had a fresh-squeezed lemonade stand, an ice cream stand, and a kettle corn stand. It was very family friendly and I highly recommend it if you think this is something that you’d be interested in (mostly because it’s seasonal).

Bought some mini cider doughnuts for the ride home.

Seth and I had the best time going up to this area for a taste of fall. Unfornately, apple picking had concluded for the season, but we still had loads of fun with other activities. As you can see in the photos we pressed our own cider, picked our own pumpkins, walked a corn maze, ate cider doughnuts all while enjoying a little bit cooler weather with some beautiful sights. Just the scenery alone is breathtaking and seeing some foliage change was exhilarating! Going up into the mountains was a nice change of pace from down here in Orange County.

Make sure you do something to celebrate fall before Thanksgiving hits. The merry holiday season will be here before you know it and it’ll be gone. Buy a fall scented candle at TJMaxx or Marshalls or make a fall dessert like this easy and quick pumpkin cheesecake dip recipe I re-pinned on Pinterest.

Happy Fall, y’all!

My boyfriend and I traveled to the Knoxville area to stay with his family in a house in the mountains there. My family also joined which was so much fun! We stayed for a week around the fourth of July. It was beautiful, lush and green. We’re not used to that here in Southern California. I miss the southeast and its southern charm. I hope to move back to that region one day!DSC_0318We traveled down English Mountain down into Knoxville for a delicious food tour! Each red pin represents where people are visiting from.
